Polymer Developments Ltd, established in 1987, is a specialist
material engineering consulting company providing testing, formulating,
analysis and moulding to the worldwide braking and friction
industries.
Together with our associates we are also able to offer a comprehensive metallurgical service, involving advice on materials selection, failure analysis and supplier development with regard to steels, cast iron and both cast and wrought aluminium as well as heat treatment and other processes. Customers frequently consult with us for cost reductions by materials selection, innovative processes and sourcing development. Graham Wharton is the founder and Managing Director of Evacol. Graham is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, who has 40 years experience in the braking industry. Evacol provides clients with full support in the development of bespoke friction materials. Evacol has developed patent protected technology for low friction brake seals.
